First time customer and very pleased to have selected Precision Door Service for my garage door repair. Spring broke off which caused additional damage. Although it is never fun to have to spend money on repairs, it was worth it. Precision responded to my request very fast and Jacob was excellent at assessing and fixing my immediate problem. Will recommend Precision to my friends and family.

When my garage opener did not work (the door would not come down and close), I went to the Yellow Pages to find a repair service. The company that had installed my opener had long ago gone out of business. I chose your company because the ad said I would be talking to a real person. Your technician Jay was here on time and very quickly took care of my problem. He was cheerful and understanding, assuriing me that my opener was still good--I didn't need worry about getting a new one. I thanked him for his great service.

My spring was broken on my garage door. When I called at 5:45 pm I was shocked to hear they could have a technician at my home by 6:30 pm on the same evening. The tech arrived in the time frame promised. He was finished with my garage door in 30 minutes. He was very professional, and he left my garage door sounding better than when it was originally placed. Great job!

I usually complain and rarely give complements, but I feel I need to tell you how wonderful an experience I had with your company. From the initial call to when the technician pulled out of my driveway, I was treated like a "customer" -- that doesn't happen much any more. You should be proud of Karen (the customer service representative that took my call) and Brian (the technician who came out to my house); they represented you very professionally and went out of their way to make me feel that they were there to help me. All in all a wonderful experience. Thank you and tell Karen and Brian I really appreciate their help.

Scott arrived late (he did call to tell me he was running 30 minutes behind, but showed up almost a hour late). He fixed the door and it is working like new. He seemed to be in a rush to get to his next job and left some trash behind. All in all I'd say pretty good service, but needs some work compared to the other reviews I read.

I am sorry that we did not fully live up to your expectations. Scott was certainly in a hurry (his previous job took him substaintially longer to complete than he anticipated). He should have treated you as if you were the only thing on his schedule once he got to your house, however. We have spoken to him about this situation and he understands what is expected from him in the future. Thanks you for your comments.

He provided us with three options -- each designed to increasing improve the door's performance. We decided to go with the complete rebuild. What a great warranty! The technician showed up 30 minutes lates (no call to let me know ahead of time). He did a quick inspection and told me I needed a new door -- said the bottom panel was rotted to the point of "no return." He quoted me a door for $1,000. I told him no thanks. I went to home depot and saw I could buy a door for $700. Your company is simply too expensive. No thanks!

As I explained on the phone, to say you can buy a door for $700 and compare it to the door we quoted you isn't fair. The Home Depot didn't include installation and take down (of your old door), disposal (of your old door), and taxes. Also and more importantly, the Home Depot door comes with a 2 year warranty on the hardware and 1 year on the labor. Our door comes with a 7 year warranty on the hardware and labor associated with the install. When looking at the prices it really is not hard to justify the difference. We provide quality product and service at a fair priceâ?¦ we have no intension of providing sub-quality products (like you can find at most big box stores). We also stand behind our service (again unlike the big box guys).
