I have had the occasion to use Precision Overhead Garage Door Service twice, and both times their service was prompt, on time, professional and overall excellent. The technician (Chet) called to give us a time he would be arriving, gave us a quote-itemizing each step of the work. He completed the work quickly and went through all the work he'd done. I'd highly recommend this company.

Our installer Chet did an excellent job. Very professional and easy to talk to. We had 2 new belt driven openers installed with the torsion springs. Essentially, we had everything replaced but the doors and the steel rails. The openers are whisper quiet! And the 360 led lighting is bright! There are way too many features to mention but luv them all. Chet did an excellent job right down to the wiring stapling. Best part he came out to give us an estimate and stayed and did the complete job without leaving! I would highly recommend Precision and ask for Chet!

I contacted Precision based upon their excellent website presentation and business info. I decided to proactively replace the rusted springs on my three 18 yr old garage doors in advance of springs breaking. Chet arrived as scheduled, with a friendly disposition, and provided an excellent no-hassle inspection of each door. Based upon his recommendation and Precision’s bundled package price, I chose to also upgrade the lift cables, cable spool bearings, and track rollers in addition to spring replacement as the doors are in good condition. Chet worked calmly and professionally to complete all doors in about two hours. He adjusted all doors to roll smoothly and more quiet, including one door that always moved slightly askew to now run true. Chet provided a full explanation upon completion, including an evaluation of my door openers. I would highly recommend Precision and their technician staff (Chet) to anyone.

When I called to make the appointment, a woman told me the cost would be $99 for them to come out to our house, plus parts & labor. The technician Paul stopped by and did a really good job. He replaced both springs in approximately 30 minutes and the door is working great now. Paul told us before he started that our price would be $329. We thought it sounded high but went through with it anyway because he was already at our house and we needed the door fixed. We think the price was too high and that the woman on the phone is misleading with what she says it will cost. If it was $99 for them to come to our house and most of the door springs I see online cost between $20 - $60 for the set, that would mean the labor charge was $170 for a half hour. That will keep us from using them again.

We are sorry that you feel our prices are too high. We do know that Home Depot and Lowe's sell garage door spring for very low prices. The springs the big box stores are no better that contractor grade parts. They are designed to last 9,000 cycles and come with a 90-day warranty. Our springs are designed to last at least 30,000 cycles and are warrantied 1-year up to 5-years depending on the condition of the rest of the parts on your door. To compare the quality parts we use to those found at Home Depot or Lowe's just isn't fair -- apples vs. oranges. Also your price comparison doesn't include taxes, transportation and your time. Those all add up and when combined with the superior warranty, our knowledgeable staff and the customer support you get from Precision Door its a great value.

The service from Precision was outstanding. The technician Paul Haney called and provided an estimated time of arrival, and then arrived sooner than expected. He had everything needed on his truck. Paul diagnosed a grinding sound from the garage door and quickly solved the problem. He was very friendly and courteous. The Liftmaster door opener is superb: quiet, safe, and programmable from our car. I highly recommend Precision.
