My garage door opener was chirping indicating I needed a new battery. The tech came change the battery and was there all of about 10 minutes. The charge was $323 which I consider outrageous. Additionally, I was told I would have a receipt email to me and I have yet to receive that receipt in order to see a breakdown of those ridiculous costs. I am dumbfounded that precision door wants me to write a review and doesn’t realize that they totally ripped me off.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry we left you feeling frustrated — that is never our goal. The total charge included the service visit, labor, and the replacement battery. While the battery replacement itself may only take a short time, the price also reflects sending a trained technician to the home, diagnosing the issue, providing the correct part, and completing the service. Regarding the receipt, our system automatically emails receipts after service is completed. I’m sorry you haven’t seen it yet. Please check your spam or junk folder, as automated emails can occasionally be filtered there. We’d also be happy to resend it and review the breakdown with you directly. Joshua called and said he was in the area and could he come to my place earlier in the day than expected. He was polite and worked on my broken garage door for some time. The door was dented and off the track and stuck at the top of the garage. Josh bent and adjusted and fixed the door so it is back up and running. The gentleman that came out was great. I thought the pricing was a little over the top. 149 service charge 150 for labor charge and 250 for parts. When he was here for 45 minutes and I can order the parts full retail from the manufacturer for 102.95. I understand people need to make a living but the markup is insane. I run a service department and if I did this I would have people screaming and yelling and not returning.

Fast appointment set online, working professionally maintained website, great communication, job appears well done and the issue with the garage door spring and hardware was seemingly resolved. I don’t really give 5/5 until I see if the job remains fixed without new issues. I’d say it was pricey but the service was fast (day after my call.) I’m obviously glad I didn’t have to do it myself. Josh was pleasant and professional and clearly takes pride in his work.

Service tech Josh was very professional and knowledgeable. My current problem was a broken extension spring on one garage door. He performed a complete inspection of both garage doors and noticed a potential issue with a spring on the second garage door. Since all hardware was now 16 years old, we decided it was an appropriate time to replace all extension springs and pulleys on both doors. Josh efficiently handled this and both garage doors again work great. This was my second, excellent experience working with the people from Precision. Quick turnaround and a great result.
