The technician who installed the garage door system was giving the wrong parts and did not seem to know how to program the system. He also had the wrong window trim so he said he would bring the right trim and install it the next day. Never showed up. I had to call service to have another technician to properly program the opener. He was also supposed to bring and install the window trim. He was never informed about it. As of today I still don't have the right window trim installed to comply with or HMO restriction. Will have to call again.

Chet had installed a new garage door opener in 2024 to replace our then 9 year old opener. He informed us then that the original tension spring system would probably need to be replaced in the not-very-distant future. Sure enough, 6 months after replacing the opener, the spring failed today. I called Precision Door, and they were able to send someone today. Chet was the service technician once again, and he thoroughly explained what would need to be done and how much it would cost before setting to work. He was quick and very neat, and soon had us back in business. We now have an upgraded torsion spring system that works very well. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Schedule my initial appointment thru a lady named Amber, who was a seasoned professional. I asked for an appointment for the next day, and she made it happen. Asked numerous questions and she answered them all. When the technician, Chet Shrader, arrived, he listened intently as I explained the problems, then I said that I wanted both lift cables replaced. Ended up getting the full door overhaul package, and am so happy that I did. The door now sounds very quiet and seems to be operating effortlessly. Chet works fast and knows exactly what he is doing. This professional is better qualified than any overhead installer I have ever known, and I have known some. When we are ready to start on the other door, Precision will be unquestionably be called first. We will ask for Chet. The quality of Precision's replacement parts is tops.

Had the roller replacement and tune up completed. Don was extremely professional, explained the work and explained symptoms that may require a spring replacement. He arrived during the window of time originally scheduled - actually calling earlier to give a more precise time.
