I have used Precision more than once for garage door maintenance and repairs. The technicians arrive on time, they are very knowledgeable, professional and happily answer all my questions - I have had different technicians each time. They do quality work and take great care to ensure no contact with personal items (cars, tools, etc) in the garage. They installed different parts of the door mechanism due to an accidental crash which then worked better than before the crash! I highly recommend them to anyone needing installation, repairs, or maintenance of garage doors!

If I could give zero stars I would. It has been over two months since we placed a deposit for a garage repair and NOTHING! We keep getting bounced around when we call customer service. When we do speak to someone they say they have no idea where the part is and that they’ll call us back. No one calls us back. Beware of being scammed by this company.

Fast appointment set online, working professionally maintained website, great communication, job appears well done and the issue with the garage door spring and hardware was seemingly resolved. I don’t really give 5/5 until I see if the job remains fixed without new issues. I’d say it was pricey but the service was fast (day after my call.) I’m obviously glad I didn’t have to do it myself. Josh was pleasant and professional and clearly takes pride in his work.

The technician who installed the garage door system was giving the wrong parts and did not seem to know how to program the system. He also had the wrong window trim so he said he would bring the right trim and install it the next day. Never showed up. I had to call service to have another technician to properly program the opener. He was also supposed to bring and install the window trim. He was never informed about it. As of today I still don't have the right window trim installed to comply with or HMO restriction. Will have to call again.
We are very sorry for the confusion here. Our vendor did not send the window inserts with your order when it was originally delivered. I know you've worked with our president to get this matter resolved quickly and we have since installed those missing inserts. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do strive to resolve issues like this in a timely fashion.

Chet had installed a new garage door opener in 2024 to replace our then 9 year old opener. He informed us then that the original tension spring system would probably need to be replaced in the not-very-distant future. Sure enough, 6 months after replacing the opener, the spring failed today. I called Precision Door, and they were able to send someone today. Chet was the service technician once again, and he thoroughly explained what would need to be done and how much it would cost before setting to work. He was quick and very neat, and soon had us back in business. We now have an upgraded torsion spring system that works very well. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Precision offered almost immediate appointments. The technician Chet was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quickly. He also educated us about the door we have and how it was installed and recommended improvements. I wish we had bought the system from Precision in 2017! Chet was patient and gave us detailed information in response to our questions. When I made the appointment I noticed Chet had many good reviews and requested him and I’m glad I did.
