We had a garage door spring let go and it frayed most of the safety cable & damaged the pulley system. I called in the evening and we were offered a next-day appointment which we couldn’t make. They did a great job finding the next open slot after that. Chet was friendly, quick to diagnose the issue, and did a good job explaining the problem. The fix wasn’t cheap but there was no pressure or upselling. We’re very satisfied with the quality of work and service. We do wish they asked before attaching a company sticker to the drywall in the garage but overall very satisfied and would use again.

I had no idea where to begin to find a garage door company so I did a google search. Immediately I was attracted to their webpage and how easily it was to navigate. I liked their many locations and one in my area. I called and a “live” person answered the phone, another plus. They were able to fit me in within two days and that was also during a holiday week. They gave me a two hour time frame which I felt was very reasonable. Once the service person realized that he would probably be late he called me with plenty of notice so I didn’t waste my day waiting around. He told me the new time that he would be there and he was there at that exact time. I didn’t mind the delay because I appreciated the phone call. Communication is key and that’s what I got. Once he arrived he evaluated the situation he explained everything in detail and remained within my budget. He was professional, kind, And courteous and got the job done. Once he was done he showed me exactly what he did and left his card for future purchases. Overall my experience with this company was very positive. I would use them again and absolutely recommend them. Thank you

I had a spring break last night on my garage door . So I found there name watched video looked at reviews . I called they were very efficient and knowledgeable. I ended up fixing both of my doors after talking with the tech. I am very happy with the job and service and would recommend them to anyone . I will also be doing my yearly door check ups . So both my doors have new hardware and work great Chet was great !!!

I could not be happier with the service. When I called they were there the next day at the time promised. We went over the options and a new operator was installed in less than an hour. The tech went over the operation of the door and programmed the new closers. He also inspected the second door and advised about future maintenance.

The good review is for Chet. Chet was excellent. Precision came out 1 year ago (different repairman) and did new cables, rollers etc. The equipment they replaced failed after one year causing my door to be inoperable. I was not impressed with this at all. However, Chet came and fixed the issue on warranty and was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks Chet

Thank you for being a loyal customer. As Chet (our technician) informed you at your warranty appointment, the part that failed was the weakest "link in the chain" a $5 part that connects the cable to the spring. We not only replaced that part, but also replaced the cable and springs, to make sure everything was 100% in working condition -- all at no cost (we waived the service fee since it had only been a year since we originally did the work). We also offered you an immediate appointment, but you requested a specific date, which we were able to accommodate. We are extremely sorry that you feel we didn't live up to our original promise. We provide a warranty just for the reason that parts do fail. We believe that you should judge a company based on how it handles issues -- how could we have handled this differently... in a way that would have make you feel that we lived up to your expectations?

I was having a problem changing my code on my recently installed garage door opening system. When I called Precision, I was immediately connected to a person. After I explained the situation, I was told that no technicians were available until the following day from 3 to 5pm. That did not make me very happy, but I took the appointment. Chet from Precision texted me his photo and then called me three hours early to see if I was available within 30 minutes. I agreed and within 15 minutes of his arrival, he had checked out the whole system and patiently explained and walked me through how to change my security code. Precision is the best!

Based on online research, I called Precision Door Service after coming home and finding one of my door springs broken. Setting of appointment was quick and easy, with very reasonable service date. As confirmed in email confirmation, I received message from technician, Chet, confirming arrival right in the middle of the time window that was provided. Chet was courteous and professional. He outlined the issues that he found and provided options to consider. I was very comfortable with explanations provided and proceeded with rebuilding balancing systems on both doors. Chet completed the work in the timeframe outlined and reviewed the work with me when completed. I now have garage doors that sound brand new. My operators are aging but still working so I didn't replace them. When needed I won't hesitate to call Precision Door Service to have them replaced.
