I had a new cable and spring installed on my garage door. Scheduling was easy and I got a next day appt which was great. The technician was ontime and did a great job. The only negative was the price. $500+ seem excessive for the work done.

Garage door needed repair. Arrived during time frame provided. Gave us options to repair, replace etc. We had door repaired and serviced. Was efficient And had door repaired quickly. Not convinced it also needed to be serviced, seems like that should have been part of the repair and not additional cost.

The good review is for Chet. Chet was excellent. Precision came out 1 year ago (different repairman) and did new cables, rollers etc. The equipment they replaced failed after one year causing my door to be inoperable. I was not impressed with this at all. However, Chet came and fixed the issue on warranty and was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks Chet

Thank you for being a loyal customer. As Chet (our technician) informed you at your warranty appointment, the part that failed was the weakest "link in the chain" a $5 part that connects the cable to the spring. We not only replaced that part, but also replaced the cable and springs, to make sure everything was 100% in working condition -- all at no cost (we waived the service fee since it had only been a year since we originally did the work). We also offered you an immediate appointment, but you requested a specific date, which we were able to accommodate. We are extremely sorry that you feel we didn't live up to our original promise. We provide a warranty just for the reason that parts do fail. We believe that you should judge a company based on how it handles issues -- how could we have handled this differently... in a way that would have make you feel that we lived up to your expectations?

The Technicians were very friendly and frank about the job that needed to be done citing the fact that the materials were original/contracted grade that came with the house over 10 years ago as a spring/coil broke and needed to be replaced as well as the cables on the track. Ed called me to tell me he could be there 30 minutes ahead of appointment time if I was available. The process took less than an hour. This is the second time I have used this company over the past 5 years.

Service person called when he was on the way. Arrived in the time window specified. Reviewed my setup and offered suggestions and tips. New Liftmaster opener installed and tested. He explained details of the new equipment. Area was cleaned up and returned to as before. Very happy with service, installer, and equipment.

I was able to get an appointment for the next day, Chet came out a little earlier than the time stated, with a phone call beforehand and new right away how to fix the issues. I found Precision in the yellow pages and was comfortable with the agent who answered the phone. The appointment process was simple and I was impressed with knowing ahead who my repair person would be including his photo on the web site. The work was quick and professional. Ed Dombrowski is a real pro and very pleasant to deal with. I must admit to sticker shock but that may be because of my age as I remember what it cost for parts when the equipment was last serviced. I would recommend Precision but advise client to fully understand the charges.

I search for a company to replace my broken garage door on Home Advisor and Precision Door came up as the default business. I read several reviews, the majority of which were positive. So, I ordered my door from Precision. There was one hiccup when my door was installed. The hiccup was that one of the panels had a crease on it. I informed Precision about this matter and it was resolved. Precision replaced the panel with a new one. The door now looks great and the garage door opener I ordered with the door works fine. I found the company to be very professional and responsive.

Schedule my initial appointment thru a lady named Amber, who was a seasoned professional. I asked for an appointment for the next day, and she made it happen. Asked numerous questions and she answered them all. When the technician, Chet Shrader, arrived, he listened intently as I explained the problems, then I said that I wanted both lift cables replaced. Ended up getting the full door overhaul package, and am so happy that I did. The door now sounds very quiet and seems to be operating effortlessly. Chet works fast and knows exactly what he is doing. This professional is better qualified than any overhead installer I have ever known, and I have known some. When we are ready to start on the other door, Precision will be unquestionably be called first. We will ask for Chet. The quality of Precision's replacement parts is tops.
