I had two garage doors with different brand door openers, neither of which was working. I only have one car so only need one door opener. Both doors are very old and will eventually need to be replaced. Chet arrived right on time and offered the various options with clear explanations and estimates for costs. I opted to replace the control unit on one of the doors. He showed me how to lubricate the various parts and explained what could go wrong, what stresses the door is under when closed or open, etc. I feel very well informed about my current doors and future options. At some point in the future I will have both doors replaced, one with a new opening system, and I will definitely be calling Precision for the job. I made the appointment in about a minute on line. They made it easy from start to finish. My new opener works perfectly.

This is my second time using Precision Door, Their team is professional, arrived right on time and completed the work quickly. Beware of the "service fee" of over $100 which is not waived or applied to the total bill. Usually, companies charge to send someone out, and if you have work done, they apply the fee to the bill. Not here. I was charged the $100 service fee and $100 for labor. will not do this again.

Thank you for your review. It is our policy to charge a service fee. This service fee allows us to provide for our technician to arrive in a fully stocked van (we typically complete 97% of all service jobs in one visit do to the fact we come prepared) and to provide a complete safety inspections of each door with a report documenting our findings and our suggestions. We also provide three options to resolve your issues. We do, however, provide a coupon on our website that waives the service fee if we provide $350 of service. We do understand that this model does not fit all customer's expectations, but our overwhelmingly large 5-star rating counts on all review sites suggests that most customers appreciate our serviceand understand our pricing.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Rolando Chaparro from Precision Door Service. Rolando arrived at my house in Madison (CT) right at the beginning of window of time provided by the company. He explained to me all the options that I had to service my two doors. I would strongly recommend Rolando and I will definitely contact him and Precision Door Service in the future for any needs with my doors.

As the technician explained. Once you're looking at the electronics of an opener It's not exactly a science to troubleshooting. There simply are multiple potential causes for things like your remote not working. We typically try the least expensive route first -- while always recommending other avenue to pursue. We try very hard to solve customer issues the first time out, but sometimes it does take two trips. Like our voicemail said, we are more than willing to comeback out and continue troubleshooting your issue and would not charge another service call. We are sorry you feel you didn't have a good experience with us.

It was a great experience. The service tech, Paul, called earlier in the day to confirm the schedule. He arrived on time, explained what needed to be done and had the parts on hand to finish the repair. I would use Precision again.

Being without an operating garage door is a hassle so getting it fixed right away was important. I made an appointment with Precision for a day later in the week. Then, much to my delight, they called and said they had a cancellation and would I like to have my door fixed today?! Ron showed up even earlier than expected and had the door running smoothly in a very short time. Why call anyone else?

I was very pleased with the service from Precision. I found them on the Internet and was able to get an appointment right away. I was impressed by the email follow-up and the promptness and courtesy of the technician. I ended up with a rebuild on my garage door and the service was relative quick and thorough. I would recommend them highly. I wish all service providers were like this.

I was very impressed with the service of everyone involved with Precision Garage Doors. I googled and noted the phone number. The young lady that answered was very professional and prompt. I was able to get an appointment time range on my schedule. The service man, Ron, introduced himself, arrived on time at the beginning of the appointment time range, and answered all questions. One of doors was damaged, slightly. The technician was personable, did an inspection, and assured me that there was no functional problem. I appreciated the evident expertise as well as the absence of any high-pressured attempt to sell me something I didn’t need. I will be calling your company for annual inspections - for sure.
