I chose them because they literally answered their phone. A few other places directed me to go online and make an appt. If I had the ability at that moment to go online I would have. A young man named Chet showed up at my house about an hour later. He thoroughly explained my issue and how to fix it. We came to an agreement as to how much it was going to cost me and he resolved my garage issues. The pricing was very fair and he was done in no time. It sounds like the recent install of my garage door was done with standard parts in lieu of heavy duty. However, my goal was to have the clunk from the door, on the way down eliminated. There was no effort made to resolve this. I was hoping for some type of adjustment instead of upselling.

I had two garage doors with different brand door openers, neither of which was working. I only have one car so only need one door opener. Both doors are very old and will eventually need to be replaced. Chet arrived right on time and offered the various options with clear explanations and estimates for costs. I opted to replace the control unit on one of the doors. He showed me how to lubricate the various parts and explained what could go wrong, what stresses the door is under when closed or open, etc. I feel very well informed about my current doors and future options. At some point in the future I will have both doors replaced, one with a new opening system, and I will definitely be calling Precision for the job. I made the appointment in about a minute on line. They made it easy from start to finish. My new opener works perfectly.
