I'm sorry I cannot recall exactly the names of the guy who came but they were both very good. The first guy (Ron?) came to do a repair and explained carefully why it would not be a good idea due to the way the first openers/doors had been installed. He was not pushy about new doors but after we finished, I decided it would be best as the doors were 35 yrs old. The second guy (Ray)who installed the doors was equally professional and worked very hard, all day and by himself to put in new doors and openers. When we asked him why he did not have an assistant he said because nobody else is a picky as he is and he liked to work alone for that reason. The doors are great. Thanks!! We called for emergency service and had the technician at out home within 90 minutes. My car was trapped inside the garage as the springs broke and I couldn\\\\\\\'t lift the door myself. Tom got the car out and then quickly replaced the springs and cables. He also made several recommendations for future work, which I will have done before winter comes. I cannot say enough about the service I received for the consultation to repair our garage door cables. James is very knowledgable about the system and all the workings involved to estimate a repair cost for cables and springs. After 1/2 hour it became evident it was time to upgrade so we ordered a new garage system....I'm looking forward to the installation!

I don't know what I was expecting apart from someone to give me a quote for options that included what I wanted but offered higher priced solutions. I was anticipating an argument that would end in my getting what I wanted, but at a price that was a little high. That IS NOT what happened. This company gave me a fast quote with three options that were all priced fairly. I chose the middle option, which just included the 5 yr guarantee instead of 7; that was the only difference between replacing cables and going with a full-on replacement of everything that was worn out and squeaking. AND, he was done in less than one hour. I was shocked. Add to that he was friendly and helpful with explanations. I recommend Precision HIGHLY!

Our service technician, Jim, was very polite and professional. He called ahead to let us know that he would be late and gave us an accurate ETA. He performed an inspection of the garage doors, replaced the rollers, and adjusted them. We are very pleased with the work he performed.

So happy we chose Precision Garage Doors! When the spring broke on our two-year old door, both our cars were trapped in the garage. Precision had a technician on site in less than an hour to replace the spring and lube the door. He finished the job in 30 minutes and had a great, friendly attitude. Very professional call center coordination with field techs. I knew whom was arriving and when. Lift springs were replaced along with new rollers. It's like a totally different door and I can't believe how quiet it is now. The techs arrive in vans that are fully equipped to do the work. There was no attempt at the need to bill me for "extra" travel to get parts that they didn't bring. I knew the cost up front before the work started. You may be able to find a cheaper service company, but this was a one call, one visit, no surprises event. I appreciate that--a lot.

Ron figured out the problem in less than 3 minutes and proceeded to replace rollers and pulleys as needed and generally tune up the door operation. All done in 25 minutes or so. Ron was a gentleman and was totally professional.
