Referred by Angi's List. It's very difficult to find legitimate garage door companies in Connecticut. Your guy Jerry was just great. He fixed my garage door opener lickety-split, after I tried and failed to adjust it for like ten hours.

Excellent service and timeline to repair was quick. Work was done the same day we had a call to review. Chet, our technician, was very professional and did excellent work. He went over all the new features, how to maintain, and what to look out for in the future. The repair included making the whole mechanism much safer and Chet did a great job of explaining what could happen and why the repair would be a good course of action.
Our technicians are genuinely exceptional. We love hearing how they made your experience memorable... in a good way!

I met Rich. What a great professional! I was delayed by a previous appointment by 15 min and my cell was dead. He waited patiently and when we met, he was very understanding; extremely positive, affable and a true professional. He even went over all the details with me and explained thoroughly all the nuances. I trust people of Rich’s caliber 1000%. He's an asset to your organization.
Thanks for the feedback. We always try to put ourselves in the customer's shoes. The result is a team of professionals who try to do what they hope someone would do for them. It looks like Rich exemplified that philosophy. We're very happy to see that you appreciate our efforts! Thanks, and thank you for your business.

I would just like to say that anyone looking for garage door technicians should have no hesitation in contacting precision overhead garage door services. We had a senior technician named Chet Schrader, who is excellent. He was very professional, he explained all of the options thoroughly, finished the job quickly and made sure that I had no questions before he left. I will not hesitate to use their services in the future.

Chet had installed a new garage door opener in 2024 to replace our then 9 year old opener. He informed us then that the original tension spring system would probably need to be replaced in the not-very-distant future. Sure enough, 6 months after replacing the opener, the spring failed today. I called Precision Door, and they were able to send someone today. Chet was the service technician once again, and he thoroughly explained what would need to be done and how much it would cost before setting to work. He was quick and very neat, and soon had us back in business. We now have an upgraded torsion spring system that works very well. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Fast and reliable service. The technician called ahead to keep me informed. Great service to repair broken spring and perform an inspection for the rest of the mechanicals. Had a new door opener installed and it is fantastic.
