Ed was great. He was knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend him. As for the company, I was not quoted an accurate price, but since every call is recorded, Ed was able to listen to my call and validate my recollection. I was quoted a service call fee of $110. And to do a “tune & lube,” they quoted me a fee of $49.95, for a minimum total of $159.95. When Ed came he showed me that their tune and lube service is actually $59.95. He then said the company applies an additional labor charge of $88/hour. They charge a minimum of one hour even if it’s a 15 minute service call to do the tune and lube, which I wasn’t informed of when I scheduled the service call. The initial sticker shock of $257.95 (when I expected $159.95) was addressed by adjusting the labor charge after Ed listened to my service call quote, which I appreciated.

I contacted Precision based upon their excellent website presentation and business info. I decided to proactively replace the rusted springs on my three 18 yr old garage doors in advance of springs breaking. Chet arrived as scheduled, with a friendly disposition, and provided an excellent no-hassle inspection of each door. Based upon his recommendation and Precision’s bundled package price, I chose to also upgrade the lift cables, cable spool bearings, and track rollers in addition to spring replacement as the doors are in good condition. Chet worked calmly and professionally to complete all doors in about two hours. He adjusted all doors to roll smoothly and more quiet, including one door that always moved slightly askew to now run true. Chet provided a full explanation upon completion, including an evaluation of my door openers. I would highly recommend Precision and their technician staff (Chet) to anyone.
