Precision came out 1 year ago (different repairman) and did new cables, rollers etc. The equipment they replaced failed after one year causing my door to be inoperable. I was not impressed with this at all. However, Chet came and fixed the issue on warranty and was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks Chet

Thank you for being a loyal customer. As Chet (our technician) informed you at your warranty appointment, the part that failed was the weakest "link in the chain" a $5 part that connects the cable to the spring. We not only replaced that part, but also replaced the cable and springs, to make sure everything was 100% in working condition -- all at no cost (we waived the service fee since it had only been a year since we originally did the work). We also offered you an immediate appointment, but you requested a specific date, which we were able to accommodate. We are extremely sorry that you feel we didn't live up to our original promise. We provide a warranty just for the reason that parts do fail. We believe that you should judge a company based on how it handles issues -- how could we have handled this differently... in a way that would have make you feel that we lived up to your expectations?

I personally think I was oversold on the work they did. $700 and half hour later...when all I really needed was a pulley replaced. Oh well. Update from customer 4/22/20: The GM called to explain the detail behind fixes that were required to make my door function "as new" once again. I now better understand why the work cost what it did and am satisfied with the result.

I was having a problem changing my code on my recently installed garage door opening system. When I called Precision, I was immediately connected to a person. After I explained the situation, I was told that no technicians were available until the following day from 3 to 5pm. That did not make me very happy, but I took the appointment. Chet from Precision texted me his photo and then called me three hours early to see if I was available within 30 minutes. I agreed and within 15 minutes of his arrival, he had checked out the whole system and patiently explained and walked me through how to change my security code. Precision is the best!

Over the weekend, one of the springs on my garage door snapped. I called this morning at 10:25. They scheduled me between11am and 1pm. I then received a text indicating Chet would be the serviceman. Ten minutes later, Chet called to say he'd be here by 11am, and he was. He thoroughly went over all my options, then quickly completed all the work.
