I called Precision Door today Nov 18 at 1:40pm and shared that the garage door is making a loud snapping sound... the office staff said they had an opening at 4 pm today! Happy! Rich came promptly and replaced extension spring and a rebuild package at a reasonable price!

While it was took a while finding the right phone number to call, when I did make the right connection it went smoothly. The technician Ed came out on time and fixed our door so it would close when ever we pushed the button. It is a great garage door and very quiet. Ed Dombrowsky did a fine job repairing my garage door. He arrived in less than 15 minutes after my call for help. He was professional, friendly and efficient! The repair was done in less than an hour, so I was able to attend my 2nd meeting of the day. Unfortunately, I was taken aback at the cost! Also, the revelation that the last repairman (by another company) had installed the wrong parts which may have contributed to the damage in such a short time (14 months) was very unnerving.

He disengaged the opener from the door so I could lift the door, illustrating that the old springs were incorrect for the weight of the door. Fine job, Chet!!
