The Technicians were very friendly and frank about the job that needed to be done citing the fact that the materials were original/contracted grade that came with the house over 10 years ago as a spring/coil broke and needed to be replaced as well as the cables on the track. Ed called me to tell me he could be there 30 minutes ahead of appointment time if I was available. The process took less than an hour. This is the second time I have used this company over the past 5 years.

I contacted Precision door to replace a broken torsion spring. Ed responded for the repairs. He pointed out the immediate issues as well as what he recommended for repairs to prolong the life of the springs and opener motor. I never felt pressure or up sold for additional repairs. I'm very pleased with the final product.

My service man was terrific - prompt, curteous, and looked over all the "parts" of the garage door. He spotted a bolt that fell off and fixed that. Said we were lucky the door didn't come crashing down. He also lubed the mechanism as well as doing what I called for him to do.

Service person called when he was on the way. Arrived in the time window specified. Reviewed my setup and offered suggestions and tips. New Liftmaster opener installed and tested. As a sole caretaker of a disabled husband, there is a lot I don’t know. Ed came to repair a garage door that wouldn’t operate. I stayed with him while he fixed the door and he gave me an education on how everything worked. He also installed an outdoor keypad that would open all 3 doors with different combinations (awesome). I had to move a car so he could program the third bay but the fob wouldn’t work. Of course he helped me with that as well. Excellent service, options explained, and I would trust this employee more than than any I have dealt with. Thank you PDS and Ed!

I really like the professional work that Precision door folks do. My 5 year old door had a major problem, was stuck in down, cable came off one side. A friend was able to move the door in the up position while we waited for our turn for repair ~ couple of weeks. Put up tarps to protect the inside of the garage. The 2 repairmen, Ed and Fran, had the job done in 45 minutes! Garage works even better than before. This is my second Precision door. Great company! JR, Leverett, MA

Very good experience! Prompt scheduling and repair service. The technician, Chet Schrader, was very helpful in explaining the needed repairs and replacement parts for the cables, springs, rollers etc. and took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions about the work and the pricing. My Overhead Door opener was not working. Hated Overhead Door products and service. Precision repairman arrived as agreed and pronounced it dead. Replacement was pricey but I agreed. Repairman proceeded to do fantastic install and upgrade. He was thorough, inspected the door and made minor adjustments as well. Explained everything perfectly and answered all my questions to the level I wanted and also understood. Great experience overall.
