When I called to make the appointment, a woman told me the cost would be $99 for them to come out to our house, plus parts & labor. The technician Paul stopped by and did a really good job. He replaced both springs in approximately 30 minutes and the door is working great now. Paul told us before he started that our price would be $329. We thought it sounded high but went through with it anyway because he was already at our house and we needed the door fixed. We think the price was too high and that the woman on the phone is misleading with what she says it will cost. If it was $99 for them to come to our house and most of the door springs I see online cost between $20 - $60 for the set, that would mean the labor charge was $170 for a half hour. That will keep us from using them again.

We are sorry that you feel our prices are too high. We do know that Home Depot and Lowe's sell garage door spring for very low prices. The springs the big box stores are no better that contractor grade parts. They are designed to last 9,000 cycles and come with a 90-day warranty. Our springs are designed to last at least 30,000 cycles and are warrantied 1-year up to 5-years depending on the condition of the rest of the parts on your door. To compare the quality parts we use to those found at Home Depot or Lowe's just isn't fair -- apples vs. oranges. Also your price comparison doesn't include taxes, transportation and your time. Those all add up and when combined with the superior warranty, our knowledgeable staff and the customer support you get from Precision Door its a great value.

Definitely 5 stars. Don was very personable and professional. Repaired my double garage door. Knew the problem right away and wasted no time fixing it. I'd have him back in a second. Really know his stuff. Great job, overall good experience.

Great experience with Precision purchasing new garage doors. We originally got a quote from a big box store, who called our garage "strange" and made it seem that it was going to be a difficult job and would take a month before they would be installed. Called Precision and they were much more professional and knew they could do the job without a problem. And Ray arrived on time, was very friendly, did a wonderful job on our doors. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Precision to anyone!

We just bought a new garage door from Precision Garage Doors and we were exceptionally pleased with the entire experience. The office person gave me all the information I needed to pick the door I wanted. i was given a date for a technician to come to look at the garage and give us a price. He reviewed all the options very carefully with us, and we chose one. A few days later, i changed my mind on the style and color of the dooe. I called the company and there was no problem with that. The door was fabricated and a technician came to install it within about two weeks from the original orer. The technician, Ray, was really competent, and very helpful in reviewing all the features, and how to use the keypad, remote etc. The icing on the cake was the senior citizen discount that was offered. All in all, very pleased with our experience with Precision Gatage doors.

I called on 7/21/15 my garage door not working. On 7/22/15 service man came. Scope of work on slip #120156 I called again my garage door not working again. serviceman came thinks its a plate he was supposed to return with part on Fri 7/24/15 - did not show up He called on Sat. said he was sorry for not coming on 7/24/15 I was not available till Mon 7/17/15 I called the tech this morning 7/27/15 He is supposed to be here later today

He thoroughly explained the function and importance of replacing these items (springs). He then effectively completed the replacement of the springs and rigged the cables.
