Paul Haney came out to my house to address my (unexpectedly) snapped spring in my 1950's era house. He called ahead in a timely manner to warn me of his arrival, he was enthusiastic and courteous and he finished replacing the springs (as well as the cables, pulleys and rollers, which I decided to have him do as well) all within about 30 minutes! I was very happy with the prompt response I got from Precision Garage Door.

Ray and Juan were timely and efficient. Ray explained the function of the door and was very knowledgeable of the product. The Liftmaster door is quiet and safe. Brian, who came initially to plan the replacement was timely and knowledgeable as well. I chose Precision Doors because they were the first to send help for repair on our old door last winter. The price was competitive as well. I would definitely recommend this company and product.

When shopping around make sure you completely understand what the company is pitching and understand their warranty. Like most things you can good cheap no frills doors (that will last a few years) or you can buy quality doors/parts which come with a lifetime product warranty and 5-years on labor. Companies that provide the later will be more expensive, but will also provide good customer service and will be around later to honor its warranty.

As the technician explained. Once you're looking at the electronics of an opener It's not exactly a science to troubleshooting. There simply are multiple potential causes for things like your remote not working. We typically try the least expensive route first -- while always recommending other avenue to pursue. We try very hard to solve customer issues the first time out, but sometimes it does take two trips. Like our voicemail said, we are more than willing to comeback out and continue troubleshooting your issue and would not charge another service call. We are sorry you feel you didn't have a good experience with us.

Paul is a master at fixing what is broken. He not only fixed the problem we called about, but identified other issues with the garage door and corrected them. don was amazing. extremely hard working and determined to solve our series of complex problems. (we have 3 garage doors, with three different motors and one was completely inoperable due to faulty wiring, plus they groaned, one was really slow and they generally needed a service). No small task. Don took it all in stride and solved the problem, he just left and they work extremely well. Thanks Don! the work took about 2.5 hours which sadly pushed his next apt and in turn may have had a knock on effect with other clients. I would definitely recommend to Precision not double booking their technicians so as to avoid but thats not don's fault, he was awesome! 10 out of 10!

Not a good experience. The quote was extremely high. Called to cancel order twice but technician still came to the house. When told we reconsidered and that we called twice to cancel he was not surprised. Then asked for payment of a $99 service call charge which we did not know about- were told it was on the robo call before you set appointment - that is garbage as no dollar amount is said- needless to say we are using someone else
We are very sorry that you feel that we didn't communicate the service fee to you. We did go back and listen to the call and the customer service representative did mention the service fee twice and you gave the impression that you understood it. We did also check our phone log and could only find the one call to set up the appointment.

Would highly recommend this company to others needing a garage door. A mistake occurred with my garage door (the wrong one came in). The company contacted me to inform me, resolved the situation and then had the correct door installed as soon as possible. I appreciated their honesty and communication around the issue. Don installed the door and did a great job. Friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working. I was originally told there would be 2 technicians sent to install this door, however he was the only one to install it. He worked extremely hard, took great care in getting the job done and done right. I appreciate the extra care and effort he took to get my door in correctly and to make sure I was comfortable with the way the hardware would look. Not all of the hardware was with the door when it was originally installed. Don came back another day to install the hardware and I was so comfortable with him and his quality of work, I had no issues having him do this work without me home. I think when things go a little wrong you can tell a lot about a company. I have only positive things to say about this company and the way their staff handled the minor hiccups during this order. This company stands behind their word, is polite, courteous, and I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you for making this process an easy one.

Excellent service. Appointment was made quickly and efficiently, communication with the service technician was excellent, and the technician was on time. He diagnosed the problem (the garage door opener's transmission had broken) and made repairs and improvements (installed new garage door opener and keypad) quickly and the system works well. He was very helpful in showing how to operate it, giving me the manuals, and explaining how the warranty works. One of th best experiences I've ever had with service.

I was very pleased with the service I received. It was very easy to book an appointment and the technician arrived right in the middle of the promised window. He was able to quickly determine what was wrong with my garage door opener and then went out of his way to provide me with the costs of repair versus replacement so I could make a decision. I chose to replace it and within 2 hours the new one was in and working great. I wouldn't hesitate to call Precision again or to refer a friend.

Well, I pushed the open button on my garage only to have one of my torsion springs crap out. I called Precision on Thursday, they scheduled an appointment for that Saturday with a time slot of 1pm-3pm. The techs, Paul and Vinny were at my door at 12:55pm. Paul looked at my garage, quickly diagnosed the issue and BOOM!!!! 20 minutes later my garage was good as new. These guys are very savvy when it comes to garage doors. They were very friendly and extremely professional. Vinny suggested I replace the pulleys as well and offered several options without any pressure. Now I have new springs and maintenance free pulleys. I will definitely go with Precision for my future garage door needs. Do not hesitate to call Precision for you garage door needs!!!!

When I called to make the appointment, a woman told me the cost would be $99 for them to come out to our house, plus parts & labor. The technician Paul stopped by and did a really good job. He replaced both springs in approximately 30 minutes and the door is working great now. Paul told us before he started that our price would be $329. We thought it sounded high but went through with it anyway because he was already at our house and we needed the door fixed. We think the price was too high and that the woman on the phone is misleading with what she says it will cost. If it was $99 for them to come to our house and most of the door springs I see online cost between $20 - $60 for the set, that would mean the labor charge was $170 for a half hour. That will keep us from using them again.
We are sorry that you feel our prices are too high. We do know that Home Depot and Lowe's sell garage door spring for very low prices. The springs the big box stores are no better that contractor grade parts. They are designed to last 9,000 cycles and come with a 90-day warranty. Our springs are designed to last at least 30,000 cycles and are warrantied 1-year up to 5-years depending on the condition of the rest of the parts on your door. To compare the quality parts we use to those found at Home Depot or Lowe's just isn't fair -- apples vs. oranges. Also your price comparison doesn't include taxes, transportation and your time. Those all add up and when combined with the superior warranty, our knowledgeable staff and the customer support you get from Precision Door its a great value.
