I found Precision in the yellow pages and was comfortable with the agent who answered the phone. The appointment process was simple and I was impressed with knowing ahead who my repair person would be including his photo on the web site. The work was quick and professional. Ed Dombrowski is a real pro and very pleasant to deal with. I must admit to sticker shock but that may be because of my age as I remember what it cost for parts when the equipment was last serviced. I would recommend Precision but advise client to fully understand the charges.

Our technician, Jay, was terrific. We are selling our home of 43 years and needed to be sure our door openers were in good shape and we needed new remotes as ours hadn't been used for years as our cars have them installed from the factory. Jay provided excellent advice and programmed each of the remotes for us. We feel confident the new owners will have fully operational openers and remotes.

One of the springs broke on one of my garage doors. I called Precision and got an appointment for the next day. Technicians called and arrived about 20 minutes early, examined the door with the broken spring and also pointed out fraying cables and issues on the other door. Fixed both doors and while the invoice was twice what I had planned, after 25 years of use, both doors needed to be fixed and updated. We are very pleased with everything except the lack of a "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE" special. I have used Precision three times now (twice for my daughter and once for us) and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Very happy with the service. A tech (Ron) showed up at our house within hours. He offered several pricing options and was able to replace springs, cables and a pulley in less than an hour. Very knowledgeable. We will be using them again.

Quick response and excellent service provided by Brian. WOW, a spring broke on our garage door this afternoon and I called Precision. The lady that answered the call was very helpful and she was able to schedule service within a couple of hours. Brian (Service rep.) came right on schedule, he was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions before he provided the estimate. I felt it was reasonable and gave Brian an ok to perform the work. He was quick, replaced both springs & cables and then adjusted the door opener. Then he checked the other door and made a couple of adjustments to ensure it fully closed and sealed. I strongly recommend Precision Door Service and if you're in the Connecticut Farmington Valley area, as for Brian.
