My Overhead Door opener was not working. Hated Overhead Door products and service. Precision repairman arrived as agreed and pronounced it dead. Replacement was pricey but I agreed. Repairman proceeded to do fantastic install and upgrade. He was thorough, inspected the door and made minor adjustments as well. Explained everything perfectly and answered all my questions to the level I wanted and also understood. Great experience overall.

I found Precision in the yellow pages and was comfortable with the agent who answered the phone. The appointment process was simple and I was impressed with knowing ahead who my repair person would be including his photo on the web site. The work was quick and professional. Ed Dombrowski is a real pro and very pleasant to deal with. I must admit to sticker shock but that may be because of my age as I remember what it cost for parts when the equipment was last serviced. I would recommend Precision but advise client to fully understand the charges.

One of the springs broke on one of my garage doors. I called Precision and got an appointment for the next day. Technicians called and arrived about 20 minutes early, examined the door with the broken spring and also pointed out fraying cables and issues on the other door. Fixed both doors and while the invoice was twice what I had planned, after 25 years of use, both doors needed to be fixed and updated. We are very pleased with everything except the lack of a "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE" special. I have used Precision three times now (twice for my daughter and once for us) and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Quick response and excellent service provided by Brian. WOW, a spring broke on our garage door this afternoon and I called Precision. The lady that answered the call was very helpful and she was able to schedule service within a couple of hours. Brian (Service rep.) came right on schedule, he was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions before he provided the estimate. I felt it was reasonable and gave Brian an ok to perform the work. He was quick, replaced both springs & cables and then adjusted the door opener. Then he checked the other door and made a couple of adjustments to ensure it fully closed and sealed. I strongly recommend Precision Door Service and if you're in the Connecticut Farmington Valley area, as for Brian.

Would highly recommend this company to others needing a garage door. A mistake occurred with my garage door (the wrong one came in). The company contacted me to inform me, resolved the situation and then had the correct door installed as soon as possible. I appreciated their honesty and communication around the issue. Don installed the door and did a great job. Friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working. I was originally told there would be 2 technicians sent to install this door, however he was the only one to install it. He worked extremely hard, took great care in getting the job done and done right. I appreciate the extra care and effort he took to get my door in correctly and to make sure I was comfortable with the way the hardware would look. Not all of the hardware was with the door when it was originally installed. Don came back another day to install the hardware and I was so comfortable with him and his quality of work, I had no issues having him do this work without me home. I think when things go a little wrong you can tell a lot about a company. I have only positive things to say about this company and the way their staff handled the minor hiccups during this order. This company stands behind their word, is polite, courteous, and I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you for making this process an easy one.

The service was excellent. The technician was on time, very polite and did a great job. However, I was initially charged $479 to replace two torsion springs, and the job took at most one hour. The service call costs $99 and isn't waved if the work is done and labor is $80/hour. Based on google searches a typical charge for a job like this should have been about $300. When I called the manager was very nice and knocked off $30 plus she said the technician made a mistake and wrote that the warranty is one year when it should be five. My only disappointment was the cost. At $449 less one hour of labor I effectively paid $369 for two springs which go for about $42/each at home depot and come with a one year warranty. That's quite a mark up on parts.

Quick service - could have come same day I called but agreed to a couple of days out. Impressed with the appointment making process and very very good communication about when they were coming. Tech took care of the issue quickly, and had some suggestions on how to take care of the rails, etc. Would recommend and if I have issues will call again.
