The scheduled service was a routine maintenance call, which is not listed in this review response. You rescheduled the call but sent me an invoice saying that I had cancelled it - not true, and confusing. You cancelled, not me. You agreed to make the rescheduled call on Friday between 8-9 AM, but when I phoned you said it was 8-12 AM - not true, and confusing again. I won't be home after 10 AM Friday.

I needed an emergency repair to get my car out of my garage. The old motor finally died. Precision bent over backwards to accommodate me. Ed was spectacular. Second experience with them. They are 5+ star!!!

Starting with the person who answered the phone and finishing with the installer (Chet), the process was easy. Both people were very nice, and Chet wanted to be sure we were happy and comfortable with the installation and use of the new opener. Thank you for the quick response and excellent service!

I was amazed with the fast service. I called and they were at my door the very next day. My tech was Chet and very knowledgeable and went threw the process with me and than asked if I had any questions or concerns. He went right to work and approximately 1hour later Chet had my overhead door back working. He replaced the cables adjusted fixtures and replaced broken rollers. I’m so glad I called Precision Depenable And great service. Thank You Chet you were excellent and a prefect Gentleman. I would recommend you and Precision and time. You are Top Notch Service with a Super Tech. I’m so happy I called and will recommend you in a heartbeat.

I am happy to get the door fixed and Chet was great and very professional. I will say that I think the $600 charge to supply new springs, rollers, stabalizer bar, some cables, + labor (hour tops) is a bit excessive. I did not price the job with any other company. Quote for a new door (which I didn't really need) was $1200 (and it's a minimal door)!! Anyway...capitalism at work. We really want to live in CT???

I am actually very unhappy with your "service".Please correct your records. I received an invoice from you. I did not cancel the appointment: scheduled 3-5pm. Your man, Chet Shrader, called at around 3:45 to let me know that he would arrive between 5:30 -6 pm. I could not meet him at that time. So, the correct statement on the invoice should be: the repairman did not show up during the time of appointment. Of course the balance on invoice is $0. For zero service and respect for your customers.

The Precision technician came in, quickly diagnosed the problem, and game me my repair options. I selected the repair I wanted, your technician cleaned up the work area, gave me my repair paperwork, and left. Well done.

My garage door was tired and broken so I called Precision and scheduled a service call. They sent a technician that was everything that word suggests. He replaced my old opener with a new one and serviced my other opener expertly and I am completely satisfied with everything done.

Service on our doors was great ! We were called in advance of the tech arrival. He and his truck were totally neat and in order. We were appraised of the recommended repairs and their associated costs. Work was performed in a timely fashion and we took part in testing all of the equipment when he was finished. We paid him and he gave us the write up of the work---------along with future maintenance recommendations.

We contacted Precision for one door issue, something on the front wall, over the door was loose, and I feel, we received an upsell to completely rebuild the hardware for $799.

Thank you for your comments and review. We appreciate all feedback even those that do not look favorably on our business. Upon review of your paperwork, our technician offered you two options: one for less than $200 which would have addressed the specific issue you called us for and one that addressed the multiple issues identified in the safety inspection (many of the items had passed but showed signs of wear). It’s our policy to not “hard sell” and to let the customer choose the option that’s best for them – that’s why you can see an estimate for less than $200. We do, however, feel it’s our responsibility to inform the customer about the overall condition of their door system – and make suggestions on how to address areas showing wear and tear and parts that simply have outlived their economic life. By the looks of everything, it seems like your husband decided that the second option (the one that addressed other issues with the door) was the one he felt was the best for him. I’m not sure what else we can say.

His thorough analysis and explanation of the problems and solutions was very reassuring. We also appreciated his arrival on time, and the 30-minute telephone advance notice.

Schedule my initial appointment thru a lady named Amber, who was a seasoned professional. I asked for an appointment for the next day, and she made it happen. Asked numerous questions and she answered them all. When the technician, Chet Shrader, arrived, he listened intently as I explained the problems, then I said that I wanted both lift cables replaced. Ended up getting the full door overhaul package, and am so happy that I did. The door now sounds very quiet and seems to be operating effortlessly. Chet works fast and knows exactly what he is doing. This professional is better qualified than any overhead installer I have ever known, and I have known some. When we are ready to start on the other door, Precision will be unquestionably be called first. We will ask for Chet. The quality of Precision's replacement parts is tops.

He took the time to troubleshoot my problem and fixed it . . . without me having to incur the expense of purchasing a new motor or motherboard. I had ANOTHER company out who seemed to focus on selling me a new motor without doing legitimate diagnosis. Well . . . I called Precision to get a second opinion and sure enough my instincts were right. First time for everything. I did NOT need a new motor.

I did not have any company to compare pricing since from the outset I was so satisfied with the response time and care taken by field reps. As luck would have it, when we chose to buy there was a special promotion going on that permitted a bump-up in design. I really like that the price submitted included everything, i.e. doors, hardware, etc, everything including tax. The installers were excellent. Very friendly; called to let me know their arrival; willing to share information should I have any questions; gave information about the doors and warranty without my asking; finished the job, cleaned the doors, picked up any trash remaining from the install and removed all materials from the doors and hardware that was replaced. I would highly recommend this company. I like doing business with a company that does what they say they are going to do> Shop around for pricing if you care to knowing that though estimates are stated as free they are free only if you choose to buy, I am not sure how Precision compares but I can tell you they are professional and back their work.

Quick service and honest feedback. Inspector said the safety feature wasn't working but didn't realize this was an older model without the laser. Ron was honest and confirmed the safety settings worked as required, moving back up upon any resistance. He tuned it up and we are ready to go! Now it's much quieter and I can breathe easy that it's safe for the neighborhood kids.
