First off, Precision's website caught my eye. I read several reviews & decided to give them a try. The technician, Brian, showed up on time, was able to diagnose my problem right away (a broken spring) and then immediately got to work. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and was friendly. He also installed a remote keypad outside replacing the hardwired one which had been broken for years. I was completely satisfied with the service I received from Brian and would definately recommend Precision Door Service.

This was a situation where a problem happened in the middle of the process, but everything turned out well in the end. The estimator arrived within a week of my calling to request both garage door and door opener replacement and the installer arrived three weeks later. Unfortunately, when the installer opened the packages containing the new garage door, he discovered that the factory had shipped the wrong garage door and he had to leave without being able to start the job. One week later, the installer returned with the correct garage door and did the installation perfectly. The most important point is not that a problem happened, but how promptly Precision Door responded to the problem.

50-plus-year-old garage door misaligned and jammed open on a Sunday evening. Concerned about pets getting out, animals getting in, and theft. Did a search online and found Precision Door Service. 631 5-star reviews. Used the chat feature and in a matter of minutes had an appt set for 1:00 pm Monday. It was a huge relief to be able to contact someone at 7 pm on a Sunday and get a reply. Technician was on time, courteous, and didn't try to sell us anything or repair something that didn't need to be repaired. A simple cable broke, and he repaired it quickly. And the charge was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Same day service, fixed my problem in a creative way (internal circuit board died in my electric door opener). Called Precision on 3/3/16 as the previous company was no longer in service. The girl who answered the phone was the was very pleasant and I booked an appointment for 3/4/16. Don the technician arrived and was very knowledgeable and professional. I needed new tension springs for a double wide door. One side of the springs had broken. After replacing the springs he serviced the rollers and cables and the door worked like it was new. Don was great and would recommend this company. The only negative to all of this, the service vehicle did not have company identification and really needed replacement.
